September 2023 Journal Page Kit "Autumn Notes" With Dooreen
This page was made with a simple collaged background, then applying heavy gesso scraped across the page and leaf stenciling in Peeled Paint.
A variety of autumnal elements are featured on the left side of the page, and an original collage is made into a pocket holding two tags covered with gorgeous fall napkins. The large butterfly stamped on kraft tissue gives a nod to the Monarch butterfly, which begins migrating to Mexico during September/October.
Papers, elements, die cuts, stamped images, tags, napkin, etc. included in the class kit.
You will need:
Art journal of your choice, Art glitter glue & UHU glue stick
Heavy gesso, palette knife, detail scissors, washi tape
Spray bottle, Wet wipes, paper towels, used tea bag
Distress Inks - Gathered Twigs, Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint (or suitable fall colors)
